About Us
Professional Dog Training in London, Ontario!
At CanineLife, we take a fun, scientific, motivational approach to dog training to provide you with the best techniques that lead to a happy, healthy pet based on the psychology of how dogs think and learn.
Our method focuses on rewarding and increasing desired behaviors and prevention and management of unwanted behaviors. Since it is easier to prevent behavioral problems before they start, we encourage rewarding and reinforcing good behavior. We understand that every dog and owner is different and will work closely with you to determine the best methods and techniques to help you achieve your goals.
Our goal is to ensure that all pet parents have a solid understanding of how to properly train their canine companion through teaching how dogs think and why they do what they do; helping to build the relationship between pets and their families. With a solid knowledge and understanding, you will be happy and confident with the ability to teach your dog.
Our focus is to provide our clients with the best possible dog training classes and information for their family and dog(s) by actively continuing to expand our knowledge of the constant changing dog training world through new studies, advances, and techniques offered through professional seminars and workshops throughout the world.
Our head training instructor has many years of extensive experience studying and working with all ages, breeds, and temperaments of dogs in family obedience training and rehabilitation through behaviour modification. She is a Certified Pet First Aid Training Instructor, Certified Canine Specialist and is the Regional Director for the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers for Southwestern Ontario. She is a licensed presenter of two internationally recognized Dog Bite Prevention programs, Be a Tree for school-aged children, and Dogs & Storks for new and expecting parents and their dog(s). She is the Team Leader and an Evaluator for Therapeutic Paws of Canada, certifying dog/handler teams to provide animal assisted therapy to those in nursing homes, hospitals, and schools on a volunteer basis. She is an Evaluator for the Canadian Kennel Club's Canine Good Neighbour program, evaluating dogs that are recognized as a well-behaved, welcomed member of society to earn them a CGN title.
